Visiting Ventnor: Flowers in bloom

These are some of the typical houses you might find in Ventnor, at the far Southern most point of the Island. Its famous for being the hottest (near tropical) place on the Island, mainly due to overhanging hills that trap the hot air. You can find palm trees aplenty, a nice beach and some pretty houses. I`ll be posting a few pictures from there in the coming days.

I love this place - I went for a summerclass back in my very young days - and I will always remember the Isle og Wight. I stayed in Ryde with a nice family... Those were the days :-)
Thank you for showing us the place. Just lovely!

Obviously, you have the bug! It helps that you are a good photographer. Love these photos. I grew up in London and for many years we would go to the Isle of Wight for our holidays. I remember the coloured sand, now I get to appreciate all those things that did not get my attention when I was young. Thank you.
